Pirates at Yankees game postponed due to rain Tuesday 7/21/26

Tuesday’s game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Yankees has been postponed due to rain.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium but inclement weather in the area has led to the game’s postponement. Now, the matchup will be played as part of a split doubleheader tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22). Game one will begin at 1:05 p.m. ET with game two set for 7:05 p.m.

If the pitching matchups previously scheduled for Tuesday hold, Pirates RHP Mitch Keller (6-7, 5.14 ERA, 77 SO) will take on Yankees RHP Gerrit Cole (3-5, 3.93 ERA, 55 SO).

The Pirates are 52-49 on the year and are positioned fourth in a very competitive NL Central. The Yankees are 1.5 games shy of first place in the AL East at 56-44.
