Top WNBA Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Veronica Burton U 11.5 Points (-131)
After a strong start to the season, Burton has been underwhelming as a scorer. In her last 12, Burton is only averaging 9.2 PPG on 42% shooting and she has fallen short of 11.5 points in 9-of-12 games. Burton is handling a 16.7% usage rate during this stretch, which ranks just ninth for the Valkyries.
Burton is going against the Mystics tonight, who she has faced twice this month. In these matchups, Burton was held to just 11 and seven points. The Valkyries and Mystics rank first and third in defensive rating, respectively, and these are the two slowest teams in pace this season. This game carries an extremely low 145.5-point total on DraftKings Sportsbook and Burton should have another modest scoring performance in this environment.
Sonia Citron U 13.5 Points (-103)
Opposite of Burton, Citron is another player that should struggle in this slow and defensive battle between the Mystics and Valkyries. Golden State is the top rated defense in the league and the Valkyries just limited Citron to 12 points when these clubs went head-to-head Saturday.
This was a continuation of some questionable play by Citron. After missing two straight games with a sore knee, the guard has scored 19, two, eight and 12 points in her last four. During this span, Citron has really taken a backseat for Washington, seeing a 16.9% usage rate, which ranks just seventh for the squad. It’s hard to imagine Citron gets back on track in this very low 145.5-point total and 13.5 points is too high of a line for her in this setting.
Dominque Malonga U 17.5 Points (-122)
Malonga is coming off a 28-point outing vs. the Fever, but she should come back down to earth vs. the Lynx, who rank second in defensive rating this season. Malonga hadn’t scored more than 16 points in five straight before going against Indiana and when she faced the Lynx back in early June, Malonga only scored seven points on 3-of-8 shooting in 14 minutes.
Her role is much larger nowadays and she is going to see close to 30 minutes, but still, Malonga topping 17.5 points in this tough matchup is unlikely. The 20-year-old has fallen short of 17.5 points in 11-of-19 games this season.
