TPC Twin Cities (par 71, 7,431 yards, bentgrass greens) in Blaine, Minnesota, is hosting the 3M Open for the seventh straight year. Kurt Kitayama (-23) won this event last season by one shot. There will be 144 golfers competing and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Below, I have featured my two favorite bets for the 3M Open on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tom Kim for a top-10 finish including ties (+250)

Kim should get back on track at TPC Twin Cities after missing the cut at the Open Championship last week. The 24-year-old picked up his fourth PGA TOUR win at the Genesis Scottish Open the week prior, which is the third time Kim has finished inside the top-six in his last eight starts.

Kim now makes his way to TPC Twin Cities, where he has finished T-26 and T-28 in two starts while shooting under par in 6-of-8 rounds. Kim is gaining 1.2 strokes per round at TPC Twin Cities and he returns to the venue in the midst of his best season as a ball-striker.

Kim ranks fifth in SG APP this season and for four years running, the winner at TPC Twin Cities has finished the week top-eight in SG APP. He also ranks 18th in proximity to the hole on 175-200-yard approach shots, which is a key distance for TPC Twin Cities, as 23.2% of the approach shots at this venue over the last five years have come from this far out.

Two of Kim’s four wins have come at TPC courses and his elite iron play should guide him to a high finish at TPC Twin Cities this week.

William Mouw for a top-20 finish including ties (+255)

Mouw is riding a four-made cut streak and he has recorded two top-20 finishes over this time. Mouw just finished T-9 at the ISCO Championship in his last start and he posted a season-low 63 in the second round. Moreover, Mouw gained strokes on approach and with his putter at this event, including a career-best 7.31 strokes on approach, which ranked third for the ISCO Championship.

Mouw has gained strokes on approach at six straight tournaments and he ranks 10th in SG APP when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds. Mouw now brings this form to TPC Twin Cities, where he finished T-7 in his 3M Open debut a year ago.

Mouw shot 66, 66, 66 and 67 in his four rounds at the par 71 and he ranks second in this field in strokes gained per round at TPC Twin Cities. Mouw is poised for another high finish at this track and is an excellent bet for a top-20 finish at this +255 price.
