New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies game delayed due to rain Saturday 7/18/26

UPDATE: Mets-Phillies is expected to resume play at 6:15 p.m. ET.

Saturday night’s game between the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park has been delayed due to inclement weather.

Both teams agreed to move the start time of Saturday’s game up an hour in order to avoid this expected storm, but it seems they just missed avoiding it entirely. The game got into the bottom of the seventh inning, with the Phillies leading 6-1. Since Philly leads comfortably late in the game, it’s entirely possible the game will be called, but there is still potential for a restart later on Saturday or Sunday.
