BREAK IT DOWN:

(Stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)

Munetaka Murakami 1+ Home Run (+242)

Murakami and the White Sox are visiting the Blue Jays in Toronto on Saturday, and they’ll be taking on righty Shane Bieber. Bieber has allowed seven homers in his four starts this season, allowing lefties to hit three of those homers with a .951 OPS against him. Murakami returned from his extended injury absence just before the All-Star break and is still looking for his first home run since returning. He has a 57.1% hard-hit rate in his four games, but has yet to catch a barrel. The public is backing him to get back on the home run train on Saturday afternoon against the Blue Jays.

James Wood 1+ Home Run (+236)

Another lefty that the public is backing on Saturday is James Wood, who is in Sacramento facing the Athletics at Sutter Health Park. On Friday night, the Nationals went off for 23 runs on 21 hits, and Wood went 1-for-5 but did not hit a home run. He homered in seven of his last 10 games before the break, going 15-for-34 (.441) with a 62.1% hard-hit rate and 20.7% barrel rate. He’s up to 28 homers on the year, with 20 of those homers against righties. Wood will face righty J.T. Ginn on Saturday night, and Ginn has given up 13 homers on the season, with lefties going yard nine times against him. Ginn has done a good job limiting homers in hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park.

Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+283)

Yordan Alvarez has 31 homers on the year, second only to Kyle Schwarber and just ahead of Wood. Alvarez and the Astros are hosting the Orioles this weekend, and on Saturday, the O’s will give the ball to lefty Trevor Rogers, who has allowed 10 homers in 17 starts, but only one to lefties like Alvarez. Alvarez has had two hits in four straight games with two doubles and two homers during that span. He has three barrels in that four-game stretch and a 53.8% hard-hit rate. He has so much power potential that the public is ready to back him even in a tough lefty-lefty matchup, which boosts the odds to almost +300 for Alvarez to hit a home run Saturday.

3-Pick Same Game Parlay

Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a same-game parlay (SGP) and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.
