On Saturday, Major League Baseball has a great slate of action with games throughout the afternoon and evening. It should be a fun Saturday of baseball with plenty of offense and some big-name options on the mound as well. There are some strong starting pitcher prop bets to consider on DraftKings Sportsbook. From Saturday night’s slate, I’ve selected my favorite starting pitcher props on the board, which are from the Giants’ Logan Webb, the Athletics’ J.T. Ginn, and the Tigers’ Tarik Skubal.
- Logan Webb Under 9.5 Hits Allowed + Walks Allowed + Earned Runs Allowed (-121): Webb went over this total in his last two outings before the break but was under it in his previous six starts. The Mariners were shut out with just two hits on Friday.
- J.T. Ginn Strikeouts Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+112): Ginn is averaging 4.4 strikeouts per game this season, but has gone over this prop in two of his last four home starts and three of his last five overall. Washington went off for 23 runs on Friday, but did strike out 13 times.
- Tarik Skubal under 1.5 Walks Allowed (-137): Skubal has only issued more than one walk in one of his last eight starts and has a total of five walks in his six games since returning from the IL. The Angels are a favorable matchup for this prop as well since they do not walk much.

Webb and the Giants are in Seattle, facing the Mariners indoors at T-Mobile Park, where the air quality and rain won’t be a factor. The All-Star has had a couple of down outings but will look to get back on track against the Mariners, whose offense has been shaky this season.
Webb gave up seven runs to the Rockies and five runs to the Blue Jays in his first two starts of the month, going well over this total. However, before that, he was under this prop line in six straight starts. His first bad start was in Coors Field, and his second rough outing was mostly due to a first-inning grand slam before he recovered and worked six shutout innings after that.
The Mariners were shut out on Friday night by Landon Roupp, managing just two hits and three walks all game long. They slid to two games under .500 with the loss and have scored two runs or fewer in four of their last six games. Webb should be in a good spot to bounce back from his last two starts and keep the Mariners bats quiet Saturday night in Seattle.
J.T. Ginn Strikeouts Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+112)
Ginn is averaging 8.13 K/9 on the season and has produced 93 strikeouts in his 21 games (4.4 per outing). He had seven strikeouts in his last start before the All-Star break, but he also gave up eight runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings. It was his second straight rough outing in a row, but it was a positive sign that the punchouts were back.
Ginn has been better on the road than at home overall this year, which isn’t surprising since he’s pitching at Sutter Health Park, but he has gone over this total in two of his last four home starts and three of his last five overall.
This will be his first start of the year against Washington, who ranks around league average for K% in most splits. The Nats did have 13 strikeouts on Friday, but they also piled up 23 runs. With the pitching staff so beat up, Ginn will likely have to eat some innings even if he does give up runs. That should set him up to work over this prop, and he has the potential for a big bounce-back performance to help get the A’s back on track headed into the second half.
Tarik Skubal under 1.5 Walks Allowed (-137)
Skubal hasn’t looked quite 100% his dominant self in his six games since returning from injury. He has gone 2-3 with a 3.62 ERA and 44 strikeouts in 32 1/3 innings. His stuff is still very good and has helped him rack up strikeouts, but he has also been giving up more hard contact. One area he hasn’t struggled, though, is with his control, which is why his walk prop is a great option to attack on Saturday.
Skubal has issued only five walks in six starts since returning over 32 1/3 innings. He did have two walks in a start against the Athletics on July 7, but has been under this prop in every other outing since all the way back on April 18.
On Saturday night, he’ll take on the Angels, who rank 22nd out of 30 MLB teams in walk rate this season and 27th out of 30 over the last month. Even if he gives up some loud contact or doesn’t rack up strikeouts, he has proven that he won’t give out free passes, so this walk prop is one of my favorites in tonight’s starting pitcher prop bets.
