The FIFA World Cup semi-finals start on Tuesday as Kylian Mbappe and France take on Spain. France are the favorites at this tournament. Can they keep it going? If they do, Mbappe is almost sure to find his way onto the scoresheet and be a big reason as to why they continue this journey.

Best Kylian Mbappe Prop Bet

First things first, let’s get an overview of Mbappe’s prop lines for this match.

He has the shortest odds for scoring at least one goal in the game, -105 with extra time included and +110 in 90 minutes. Mbappe also has the lowest odds to score the first goal in the match at +360, something he has done in five matches in this World Cup. He’s at +550 to score a pair of goals and +3000 to get a hat trick. His lowest available shots-on-target lines (including extra time) is 1 at -4000, followed by 2-plus at -205, 3-plus at +170, and 4-plus at +475. The lowest line for Mbappe’s total shot attempts is 3-plus at -800, followed by 4-plus at -210, 5-plus at +115, and 6-plus at +255. For assists, 1-plus assist is at +360. Not the most defensively inclined striker, Mbappe to record 1-plus tackle is at -105, the worst odds on the board.

All Kylian Mbappe does is score goals when he puts on the French jersey in the World Cup. He won the Golden Boot in 2022 and is looking like he might do it again in 2026. He is tied with Lionel Messi with eight goals each, but Mbappe has one extra assist, which is the tiebreaker. He’s scored in five of France’s six games, and in all five of those matches he recorded the first goal. At these odds, I will definitely be taking him to score first once again.

The French do have a lot of players who can make something out of nothing and find the net from anywhere, but Mbappe is still the leader and superstar of this team. He leads the team in goals, shots on goal and expected goals in this tournament. Mbappe has 20 career World Cup goals, only one behind Messi for the most of all time. The difference is, Mbappe is 27 and Messi is 39. Mbappe is going to shatter that record, and he might even hold the record by the end of this tournament. He scored four times in the 2018 World Cup, eight times in 2022 and now has eight more to his name in this one with two games to go. You could make an argument for him being the best player in the history of the competition.

France are looking to go to a third straight final, and I think Mbappe will score the first goal of this match to help lead them there.

Best Bet: Kylian Mbappe 1st Goalscorer (+360)
