As we reach the All-Star break, the 2026 Major League Baseball season has reached the ceremonial halfway point. Lots of things have definitely changed now that teams are about 95 games into their 162 games during the regular season. Let’s take a look at the updated World Series odds on DraftKings Sportsbook as we take a break and get ready for a wild finish to the season.

Will the Dodgers repeat again? And which teams have a chance at toppling the dynasty?

Let’s update the market and take a look at some significant movements since World Series odds first came out.

2026 World Series Odds on DraftKings Sportsbook

Los Angeles Dodgers (+190)

The two-time defending World Series champions opened at +230, and their odds have actually gotten a little shorter over the first half of the season. The Dodgers are 12 1/2 games ahead of the rest of their division coming into play on Sunday and lead the majors with 61 wins. Despite dealing with more pitching injuries and some struggles in the rotation, they continue to stand out as the clear favorites.

Tampa Bay Rays (+1500)

One of the teams whose odds have moved the farthest in the positive direction is the Tampa Bay Rays. In the offseason, the Rays were +9000 to win the World Series. They were ahead of only about 10 teams but have been one of the biggest surprises so far this season. The Rays have set the pace in the American League with a 56-37 record before the All-Star break and are four games ahead of the Yankees, who are still the second-shortest odds to win the World Series. The Rays still offer some good value, relative to their record, since they have more wins than four of the six teams with shorter odds to claim the championship.

Toronto Blue Jays (+3000)

The Rays’ division rivals have tumbled down the odds, with both the Red Sox and Blue Jays falling way short of initial expectations coming into spring training. The Blue Jays were +1400 with the fourth-shortest odds to win the World Series in February after they pushed the Dodgers to seven games in last year’s World Series. They have struggled so far this season, though, going 45-50 and are last in the division, even though they’re still just two games out of the final American League Wild Card spot.

Detroit Tigers (+6000)

Another AL favorite who has struggled this season, the Tigers’ odds have tumbled from +2500 to +6000. They are 44-52 coming into the break, and are currently fourth in their division behind the Twins, who have been pleasant surprises at just one game under .500.

Miami Marlins (+10000)

Like their Sunshine State rivals, the Marlins have also been much better than anticipated this season and have cut their World Series championship odds from +20000 to +10000. They’re still long shots, to be sure, but they currently hold the third and final NL Wild Card spot and are an impressive seven games over .500.

San Diego Padres (+10000)

The fact that the Padres and Marlins have the same odds now is amazing. The Friars were +2800 in February, with the Marlins almost 10 times less likely to win the World Series. The Padres are 47-48 with struggles throughout their rotation and their offense. They look a long way from challenging their division rivals, the Dodgers for the division or for the World Series.

New York Mets (+40000)

The biggest fallers, though, aren’t the Padres, the Tigers, or the Blue Jays. That ignominy belongs to the New York Mets. In February, the Mets were tied with Toronto and Philadelphia for the fourth-shortest odds at +1400, behind only the Dodgers, Yankees and Mariners. Since then, though, the Mets’ season has unraveled at just about every level. They were just swept by the Red Sox going into the break and are 40-57. That gives them the second-worst record in the NL, just barely ahead of the Rockies. The Mets now have the fifth-longest odds to win the World Series, and despite some exciting young individual players, they seem a very long way from contending for a World Series, as they were expected to do coming into the year.
