There is a fantastic all-Czech Wimbledon final set between Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova.
Here are my pick, prediction and best bet for this exciting conclusion to the 2026 Wimbledon Championships.
Karolina Muchova vs. Linda Noskova Prediction
Karolina Muchova
This has been Linda Noskova’s second major quarter-final and her first time reaching a semi-final or final. On the other side of this matchup, it has been a long time coming for Karolina Muchova. Muchova has made seven major quarter-finals, four major semi-finals, and one major final, but has never reached the top of the mountain by winning a major. Muchova made the 2023 Roland-Garros final, but lost to the queen of clay, Iga Swiatek. It has been a great year for Muchova, as she reached No. 6 in the world in the live WTA rankings. This is now her chance to finally win a major title, and it comes against her fellow Czech.
Linda Noskova
This has been a true breakout tournament for Linda Noskova. She was a great junior player, winning the French Open girls’ singles title in 2021. Noskova is still only 21 years old and has plenty of time to achieve greatness in her career. However, it’s fair to say Noskova’s transition to the biggest stage in tennis has been a rocky one. Before Wimbledon 2026, she had only made one major quarter-final, and that came at the 2024 Australian Open. Noskova did make a Masters 1000 final in 2025, where she fell to Amanda Anisimova. However, she announced her arrival on the scene during this summer’s grass season. She won her second career WTA title in Berlin and has now made her first major final.
Karolina Muchova vs. Linda Noskova Pick, Best Bet
My best bet is on the Karolina Muchova Moneyline. It is finally Muchova’s time to win a major title. She started the year strong, making the Brisbane International semi-finals and reaching the fourth round at the Australian Open. She had a great hardcourt season, highlighted by winning the Qatar Open title and making the Miami Open semi-finals.
Muchova picked up right where she left off once the calendar turned to clay season, making the final in Stuttgart. Muchova proved she can do it on every surface, winning the title at the Bad Homburg Open before heading to Wimbledon. She has now taken down Coco Gauff and Naomi Osaka en route to her second career major title.
Linda Noskova will make it a tough test for Muchova. Noskova won another significant grass precursor in Berlin before Wimbledon. Both of these women have had great grass seasons. The other obvious thing they have in common is their home country. Both women are from Czechia and have a great relationship. As a doubles pairing, they played together at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. They played great together as a duo, making the bronze medal match at Roland-Garros.
Muchova has much more big-match experience than Noskova. Muchova has made the late rounds at many majors and has felt the pressure of a major final. Noskova has plenty of time to make it back to another one of these finals and win one herself. However, it seems like Muchova’s turn. I am backing her to win her first major title at Wimbledon on Saturday.
