There are three games in the WNBA tonight, tipping off at 8 PM EST between the Storm and the Dream. The Mercury will host the Fever at 10 PM, and the Fire will host the Aces at the same time.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Chelsea Gray More than 6.5 Assists
Gray is the cleanest play on the board because the matchup lines up directly with how Las Vegas wants to play. She is averaging 7.3 APG, and the Aces lead the WNBA with 22.2 APG. We have an obvious angle here. Additionally, the Fire are allowing 23.3 APG, the most in the league, and that number has jumped to 28.7 over their last three games. Weโre banking on Grayโs half-court control, Las Vegasโ ball movement, and Portlandโs inability to consistently finish defensive possessions without giving up assisted buckets. She doesnโt need a scoring spike here; she just needs the Acesโ offense to look like itself.

Kelsey Mitchell More than 23.5 Points
Mitchellโs line is high, but the Fever should need her scoring volume again tonight with Caitlin Clark out. Last game, she led her team in points with an efficient 29 off 50% shooting and also led her team in minutes played with 33.
Mitchell is averaging 22.2 PPG for the season, and her recent form has been even better, with at least 22 points in six of her last seven games. She has also been getting there in multiple ways, including threes, drives, and free throws, which matters when defenses start loading up on her. Phoenix is not an easy matchup, but Indiana still plays through pace and shot creation, and Mitchell is the Fever guard most likely to carry that usage. Itโs a bigger ask than usual, but her role and recent form are both encouraging.

Kahleah Copper More than 20.5 Points
Copper is in the middle of one of the better scoring stretches on the slate, averaging a massive 26.0 PPG over her last five games while clearing 20 points in each of those outings. She’s been incredibly consistent lately. Her season average is already above this line at 20.8 PPG. Indianaโs defensive profile also gives this pick a clean path, as the Fever allow 89.7 PPG, the fourth-most in the WNBA. Copperโs going to apply pressure tonight in transition and at the rim, where she’ll pick up opportunities to get to the line and punish a loose defensive possession before Phoenix has to slow down.
