This season of Love Island USA is heading down the final stretch. Casa Amor and Movie Night are in the rearview, and now the final few days will establish which couples are in it for the long haul.
Here is what happened on Tuesday night’s episode of Love Island USA.
Love Island USA Recap, Tuesday 7/7/26
This episode picked up where the previous one left off, with Kenzie and Dylan’s relationship on the rocks. However, their negative conversation is interrupted by a text. The islanders were informed that one couple would be chosen to spend the night in the Hideaway. As a group, it was decided that Melanie and Sincere would get that opportunity. They are seemingly back on track after a rollercoaster of a journey over the past few weeks. This night away from the rest of the islanders could be exactly what they need to finally get back to a good place as a couple.
For other couples around the villa, it was time to solidify their relationships. Both Aniya and Carl, and Trinity and Bryce confirmed that they were going to be together on the outside. Meanwhile, in the Hideaway, Melanie and Sincere talked about their moms. Melanie made it clear that her mom would be angry with Sincere for his actions in the villa. That made it a very awkward transition to what came next in the Hideaway…
Another important text message came in early the next morning. Aniya got a text saying that the girls would get some time away from the boys. She had to go full Ethan Hunt and sneak all of the girls out of the bedroom, including breaking Melanie out of the Hideaway. The boys woke up very confused to see that the girls were gone. After some initial confusion, they decided to have a relaxing morning. The boys took in the scenery, made a nice breakfast and chatted amongst themselves.
Girls Day
It turns out, the girls’ day out was at a water park. The ladies got to enjoy a day away from the boys at their own private water park, basically my dream come true as a 12-year-old boy. After enjoying the rides, the girls got some drinks and let Melanie recap her night in the Hideaway. Kenzie crushed the good vibes by talking about her troubles with Dylan. She felt as if she had apologized enough to Dylan, and that he should move on.
TiTi got very emotional talking about her relationship with KC. She said that he has treated her better than she has ever been treated before. TiTi plans on introducing KC to her family, something that she has never done before. Meanwhile, there was some frustration from Kayda over the fact that the girls didn’t quite understand what it meant that she and Zach are “exclusively dating.” Understandably, they didn’t get why they aren’t just boyfriend and girlfriend.
Boys at the Villa
After noticing Melanie’s absence and promptly going back to bed, Sincere came to recap his night to the boys. Sincere went with the “don’t kiss and tell” mentality, but the boys could tell he had a great time. Dylan broke down his feelings to Carl. Dylan hoped that Kenzie would finally take full accountability for her actions, and still didn’t get the perfect answer. He now has major doubts about whether they will work on the outside.
On the other side, KC felt just as good about his relationship as Titi does. He made plans to ask her to be his girlfriend when the girls got back from their day out. The boys concocted a plan for her to ask her out in a nice way. He took some pictures in the photo booth that would be a scavenger hunt for TiTi to follow. The end of the scavenger hunt would be KC asking her to be his girlfriend.
The Girls Return
The boys were incredibly jealous to learn that the girls got to go to a water park. Kayda revealed to Kenzie that she was not happy about the girls’ reactions to their “exclusively dating” title. Zach was also upset about the fact that the girls don’t respect their situationship relationship. Kayda only got more emotional about this as the night went on, upset that her friends aren’t supporting her. Meanwhile, the girls spoke privately about their doubts around why they didn’t take that next step to be boyfriend and girlfriend.
Kenzie and Dylan had a follow-up conversation, and Kenzie finally gave Dylan the full apology he has been looking for. The two of them are now hoping to cruise through the rest of their time in the villa and keep things going on the outside.
KC sent out the signal to the boys that it was time for his master plan to get underway. It started with Dylan and Carl taking her to the photo booth, where she found a picture of KC with pans. They then sent her to Sincere in the kitchen, who gave her the next clue. Sincere revealed the next clue, which was in one of the pans. That was a picture of the fire pit, where Bryce was waiting to give her the next clue. That clue was another picture, which sent her over to the swing. The next picture was waiting for her there, which sent TiTi to the dock.
TiTi was waiting at the end of the dock when KC emerged with some roses. For the first time in his romantic life, KC decided to commit to somebody. He asked TiTi to be his girlfriend, and she very ecstatically said yes. They now join Trinity and Bryce as the only official couples in the villa, as “exclusively dating” does not count. Kayda was not happy about the timing of this incident in the wake of everything that happened with her and the girls.
The episode concluded by letting the public know it was time to vote for their favorite couples. This vote will determine which four couples make the Love Island USA Season 8 finale.
