America’s Got Talent Season 21 is back after a one-week hiatus, shining the spotlight on another wave of auditions. Acrobats, comedians, singers and magicians are all competing for the judges’ approval, all while the number of Golden Buzzer fast-passes continues to dwindle.

When does America’s Got Talent come out?
America’s Got Talent Season 21 Episode 5 will premiere on NBC on Tuesday, July 7 at 8 p.m ET. Episode 5 will be available to stream in real-time and on-demand on Peacock, as well.
For the first two months of the season, weekly episodes will recap the auditions that were held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium earlier in 2026. Live shows will start when the quarterfinals get underway in August, at which point the show will start airing additional episodes on Wednesdays to disclose voting results. The same goes for the semifinals and finals, which will take place in September.
Who is auditioning on America’s Got Talent tonight?
The panel of judges – plus host Terry Crews – are back once again. Howie Mendel, Simon Cowell, Mel B and Sofia Vergara are responsible for deciding who moves on and who goes home. What to expect on America’s Got Talent tonight
In Episode 1, Simon, Howie and Terry all used Golden Buzzers to fast-track their favorite acts to the live shows. Sofia used her first Golden Buzzer in Episode 2, just before Howie burned his second. Mel B got in on the action in Episode 3. In Episode 4, Simon and Mel exhausted their Golden Buzzers, leaving three on the board for the remainder of auditions.
With a $1 million grand prize on the line this season, there is plenty at stake for the countless dancers, magicians, singers, comedians and acrobats will are taking the stage. The judges rejected three acts in Episode 1, four in Episode 2, four in Episode 3 and five in Episode 4, so expect a similar number of performers to get sent home each week.
