40 teams down. Eight to go. The quarterfinal matchups are set after Tuesday’s action, and we grow closer to crowning a winner in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Let’s take a look at the updated odds to bring home the hardware.
Here’s a look at the updated odds on DraftKings Sportsbook:

France, seeking revenge for their loss in the 2022 World Cup Final, is the favorite at +180. They play the first game of the quarterfinals on Thursday, July 9 against Morocco, who is sixth in odds at +2800. Spain, who have yet to concede a goal through five games, are at +370 after a dramatic defeat of Portugal. They face Belgium on Friday, with the Belgians coming second-to-last in odds to win it all. Argentina’s dramatic win over Egypt on Tuesday kept the defending champs in the race, and they’re sitting third in odds at +400. Switzerland, who won over Colombia in penalty kicks on Tuesday, are bringing up the rear as they’re due to face Messi and the defending champs on Saturday. Finally, we have England and Norway at fourth and fifth. Those two sides will face off this Saturday in the closest matchup on paper.
These odds merit a lot of watching in the coming days. None of our quarterfinal matchups are pick em’s on paper; England has the shortest odds to advance out of the four favorites at -215. But we’ve seen some wild upsets, and some very close contests. Incredibly, all four of the favorites (France, Spain, Argentina, England) won by exactly one goal in the Round of 16. So if you’re confident in an underdog pulling out two more upset wins, now is the chance to get that value. Crazy things are in the water during this World Cup, and we might be shocked at who is crowned champion.
