Love Island UK Episode 37 Recap 7/6/26
Kavan started off the morning by making Jasmine a coffee. Simba offered to do the same for Angelista, but she shunned him, so Finley eventually had to deliver it on his behalf.
The girls gathered around the firepit to clear the air, starting with Lola calling Julia out for pursuing Sean. Jasmine clarified that she isn’t mad at Charleen for stealing Kavan and that she is only mad at Kavan himself. Angelista and Mara stuck around after the rest of the group split, venting about their frustrations with Simba. Martha pulled Mica for a separate chat later that night, coming clean about her dynamic with Samraj in Casa Amor. While Mica didn’t get any new information from the exchange, she did get to complain about how betrayed she felt.
Simba talked with Angelista and said he didn’t think his Casa decisions through. She met his excuses with some pretty noticeable eye-rolls, since he said bringing Mara back to the Villa was “standing on business.” Kavan also explained himself to Jasmine without much success. She said she would take a step back and let him do his thing, but Kavan said he would start to win her back by not sharing a bed with Charleen that night. Kavan told Charleen that bringing her back from Casa was a mistake. That effectively left him single, since he isn’t in a great place with either Jasmine or Charleen.
Julia still wasn’t over what Lola said to her earlier that day. Lorenzo tried to talk her through the dynamic and get her to be on friendlier terms with the Villa girls, but she marched back to the dressing room in tears. Ellie joined the Casa girls to help Julia work through the emotions and compose herself before hashing things out with Lola again. Julia came back out to talk with Lola, Sean and Lorenzo – with Aidan, Samraj and Martha also sitting in – and the drama only heightened. Both sides stood their ground until Julia swore at Lola in Irish and walked away. Lorenzo played the role of mediator through it all and seemed to calm things down. But he decided to make a dig at Yasmin for moving on from him so quickly, which got him in hot water for a whole new reason.
Simba pulled Mara for a chat amid all that chaos to try to get to know her better. She wasn’t having any of it, though, since he spent the whole day ignoring her and pining after Angelista. Mica and Samraj, on the other hand, seemed to have settled their tension.
Martha tried to have a serious conversation with Aidan about how she and the other Casa girls didn’t feel welcome in the Villa, but he laughed it off. Coupling that with the fact that he barely spoke to her all day, the two don’t appear to be in a great spot. She got the ick, after all.
