Since it is the Fourth of July, it means the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest is here! The 2026 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest begins at 10:45 a.m. ET with the women’s competition and continues with the men’s at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and ABC.

Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest Record

Currently, Joey Chestnut holds the record at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest with 76, which was set on July 4 2021. Chestnut is a 17-time Champion and has won the last nine Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contests that he has competed in. Last year, Chestnut recorded 70.5 hot dogs, his most since setting the record in 2021.
