Since the beginning of June, Detroit’s home run (19) and RBI leader (59) is hitting .331 with a .990 OPS, eight homers, 25 RBIs, and 23 runs scored.
The righty slugger, 27, looks to stay hot in Sunday’s series finale in Arlington, where he’ll face Rangers right-hander Kumar Rocker. The third overall pick in the 2022 draft has posted a respectable 3.83 ERA in 16 outings (80 IP) this season. However, signs of regression have started to emerge: backed by a 4.54 xERA, Rocker carded a nearly identical 4.50 ERA across five June starts (24 IP). Although the two have met just once before, Dingler made the most of his lone matchup with Rocker on May 2.

However, his underlying metrics suggest he’s benefited from favorable batted-ball luck: Hancock’s inability to dance around loud contact this season has contributed to a 4.48 xERA.
