Patrick Fishburn to make the cut
After missing the cut in his debut at TPC Deere Run, Fishburn finished T18th at the venue last season. The veteran now returns to Silvis this week riding a four-made cut streak. The 33-year-old has finished inside the top-30 twice during this run, most recently with a T29 at the RBC Canadian Open. Fishburn carded a pair of 5-under 65s at TPC Toronto and he has shot under par in 10 of his last 16 rounds.
Lucas Glover to make the cut
Glover’s resume at TPC Deere Run is long and impressive. The veteran won here by two shots in 2021 and he has finished inside the top-six at this venue two of the last three years. Glover has made 11-of-16 cuts and tallied eight top-25 finishes at TPC Deere Run. Furthermore, he has eight rounds of 64 or lower at the par 71, including a 9-under 62, which is one shot shy of his career low. Returning to TPC Deere Run as the maker of six of his last eight cuts, Glover should advance through the cut line this week.
Zach Johnson to make the cut
Johnson is the ultimate course horse at TPC Deere Run. The Illinois native has made 20-of-23 cuts and finished inside the top-five seven times at this track. Johnson won at TPC Deere Run in 2013 and he has three runner-ups at the course. Johnson is gaining 1.52 strokes per round in 86 rounds at TPC Deere Run, which is the fourth-best average in this field among the players who have played at least 15 rounds here. As you can see, the John Deere Classic is extremely important to Johnson and him missing the cut this week would be surprising, regardless of his age. Johnson is 50-years-old and he is having an incredible first season on the Champions Tour. Johnson has finished T8th or better in all eight of his starts and he was won twice. The veteran just won the Principal Charity Classic by four-shots in his last start and he ranks second on the Champions Tour in money earned. Also, Johnson has competed at the PGA TOUR level three times in 2026 and he has made the cut twice.
