Following the Travelers Championship, which is the last Signature Event of the season, we head to TPC Deere Run (par 71, 7,289 yards, bentgrass greens) in Silvis, Illinois, for the John Deere Classic. TPC Deere Run has been the home of the John Deere Classic since 2000. At this event a year ago, Brian Campbell (-18) defeated Emiliano Grillo in a playoff. The John Deere Classic is hosting 144 golfers and there will be a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.
Below, I’ll dive into three of my favorite DFS options on DraftKings for the John Deere Classic.

Top Golf DFS Picks for the 2026 John Deere Classic
Jordan Spieth ($9,200)
Spieth is very fond of TPC Deere Run, winning at this venue in 2013 and 2015. When he won here in 2015, Spieth posted a career-low 10-under 61. The veteran has finished inside the top-eight in 3-of-5 starts at TPC Deere Run and he ranks sixth in this field in strokes gained per round at the par 71.
Spieth hasn’t contended yet this season, but he has been rock solid, making 15-of-17 cuts and finishing inside the top-25 eight times. Spieth finished a mediocre T66th at the Travelers Championship this past week, but he ended this Signature Event on a high note, carding a 3-under 67 in the final round.
Looking to ride this wave into the John Deere Classic, Spieth could be in store for a season-best finish at TPC Deere Run and there is a chance he gets slightly overlooked after his showing at TPC River Highlands last week.
Aldrich Potgieter ($7,500)
Last year was Potgieter’s debut at TPC Deere Run and he got off to a great start, shooting a 4-under 67 and a 5-under 66 in the first two rounds, putting him in 13th place heading into the weekend. Then, things took a bad turn in the third round, when he carded a 5-over 76. Following this round, Potgieter withdrew from the John Deere Classic due to an undisclosed reason.
Whether it was an injury or a personal matter, something clearly bothered Potgieter in that third round, but he showed in his first two rounds at TPC Deere Run that he can excel at this track and he returns to Silvis in compelling form this week.
The South African has made six of his last seven cuts and he has finished inside the top-25 four times during this stretch, most recently with a T8 at the RBC Canadian Open in his last start. Potgieter gained strokes across the board at TPC Toronto and he shot a 5-under 65 in his final round.
TPC Deere Run is one of the easiest tracks on the PGA TOUR and Potgieter knows how to get it done at courses that yield low numbers, as he won the Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club at -22 last season. Potgieter could contend this week and he is an awesome option at only $7,500.
Daniel Berger ($7,500)
Berger has quietly had a strong season. The four-time PGA TOUR winner has made 12-of-16 cuts and produced five top-25 finishes. Berger nearly claimed his fifth victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March, losing to Akshay Bhatia in a playoff. More recently, Berger just finished T25th at the Travelers Championship last week and he had an excellent weekend, posting a 5-under 65 on Saturday and a 4-under 66 on Sunday.
Berger has gained strokes on approach at four straight events and he ranks ninth in SG APP this season, setting him up well for his return to TPC Deere Run, as three of the last five victors here have finished the event top-10 in SG APP.
At TPC Deere Run, Berger has finished inside the top-35 in 3-of-4 starts, most notably with a T5 in his debut in 2017. Berger recorded an 8-under 63 that week and he has a prowess for TPC courses in general. Two of his four wins have come at TPC Southwind and Berger ranks fourth in this field in strokes gained per round at TPC tracks.
