NXT is coming off its premium live event, The Great American Bash, which took place on Sunday, June 28. The Great American Bash featured seven matches, and the event ended with Kendal Grey capturing the NXT Women’s Championship. So far for this week’s episode of NXT television, four matches are scheduled with two titles on the line.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Vanity Project (c) vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeno for the NXT Tag Team Championship
Since winning the NXT Tag Team Championship, The Vanity Project has successfully defended the titles twice. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno have teamed together in the past, but not since November 2025. This doesn’t appear to be the right moment for The Vanity Project’s title reign to end.

AAA Latin American Championship Match: El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. EK Prosper
At Noche de Los Grandes, El Hijo del Vikingo defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the AAA Latin American Championship and will now make his first title defense. EK Prosper is another elite young talent in NXT and is coming off a big win over Keanu Carver. Although Prosper will likely put up a good fight, it would seem too soon for El Hijo del Vikingo to lose the title.

Singles Match: Mason Rook vs. Jackson Drake
Mason Rook is coming off a loss to Naraku, while Jackson Drake lost his last match to Tavion Heights. Both wrestlers are still among the best rising stars in NXT and have the potential to put on a phenomenal contest. I’m giving the edge to Rook in this match due to his power, and it would be surprising if he lost his first two singles matches on NXT.

Singles Match: Karmen Petrovic vs. Jaida Parker
Karmen Petrovic has recently aligned with Nattie and will face her rival, Jaida Parker, in a singles match. This is the fourth singles match between Parker and Petrovic, and Petrovic is 2-1 against her. Parker has been the more active competitor recently, as this is Petrovic’s first match on NXT since July 2025. After Parker lost to Nattie a few weeks ago, she should be extra motivated entering this contest.
