Love Island UK Episode 29 Recap 6/29/26
The islanders wrapped up their game of “Public Tea or Villa Receipts” that got rolling earlier on Day 21. Some viewers didn’t buy Sean and Lola’s connection, while Yasmin’s old comments to Aidan about Lorenzo resurfaced. The three of them pieced together the context, though, so not much drama came from it. Jasmine and Kavan’s relationship remained tense thanks to more quotes that came out of the box. Aidan also caught some heat from Yasmin’s mom on Aftersun, where Robyn also apparently said Angelista needed some justice. The final card was a social post putting Jasmine on blast for thinking the world revolves around her.
Kavan pulled Jasmine for a chat and made it clear how tired he was of her and Lorenzo flirting and holding onto their old fling. Jasmine said there wasn’t anything there, but Kavan said it made him want to take a step back regardless. Yasmin also wasn’t psyched about the situation, telling Lorenzo to cut the crap and try to get to know Jasmine again. Angelista and Simba shared a kiss after talking through their relationship, too. Meanwhile, Aidan chatted with Yasmin and called her out for caring what her mom thinks about him. Despite his best efforts, she straight up said the door was closed between them.
The next morning, Kavan told Sean that he wasn’t sure the compatibility was there with Jasmine at the moment. At that same exact moment, Lorenzo pulled Jasmine for a chat. Yasmin went over to Kavan so they could vent to each other about their partners’ suspicious activities – an affair in plain sight, per the viewers at home. When Kavan reiterated to Jasmine that he needed to take an emotional step back, she issued an ultimatum and said they might as well break up. Kavan opted not to fight to keep their relationship alive, so it ended up as a break after all. Yasmin grilled Lorenzo about where he stood with Jasmine, not eager to sit around waiting for him to leave her. Lorenzo kept saying that he was good with Yasmin in the moment, while Yasmin didn’t want to be a temporary placeholder.
That night, Samraj got a text that said all the islanders needed to gather around the firepit. It was time for another recoupling, with the boys choosing which girls they wanted to be with. Samraj went first and finally got back together with Mica, leaving Priya single. Simba stuck with Angelista, Finley stayed with Ellie and Sean obviously stood by Lola. Lorenzo, despite all the drama in the past 24 hours, stayed coupled up with Yasmin. That left Kavan to reluctantly stay with Jasmine. Aidan, going last, coupled up with Priya. The new couples went their separate ways to unwind, but those last two didn’t share much romantic affection.
Just before the credits rolled, we got a tease for Casa Amor coming up on Day 23. The boys will be heading off to the new digs, while the girls will be staying put.
