Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis defeated Xander Zayas by seventh-round TKO to win the WBO and WBA Super Welterweight titles in the Main Event of Saturday’s boxing event in Brooklyn, New York, at the Barclays Center. In this fight, Ennis recorded three knockdowns before Zayas was unable to continue in the seventh round.

Ennis’ perfect undefeated record stays intact as he moves to 36-0 with 32 knockouts. He is now a two-division world champion, having previously held the IBF Welterweight title. This is Zayas’ first career loss, as he started his boxing career 23-0.

Before the contest, Ennis was +1400 to win in the seventh round on DraftKings Sportsbook. Boots was also +100 to win by KO/TKO/DQ.
