That victory came 4-0 over Tunisia in a dominant performance, but the other two matches may have been even more impressive. Japan tied 2-2 with an excellent Netherlands side and then finished knotted 1-1 with Sweden as well. They’ve more than proven an ability to compete against superior talent.
