All 30 teams make up Friday’s 15-game MLB slate. For those looking to cash in quickly on a bet, nothing makes more sense than an NRFI. With that being said, there’s more to this one than meets the eye. Some pitchers thrive early, while others take more time to get settled in than others. Which NRFI picks are worth a closer look today?
Ahead of Friday’s Major League Baseball contests, here are three NRFI bets worth placing on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best NRFI Prop Bets Today
| Brewers vs. Braves NRFI (-140) | Misiorowski vs. Perez |
| Padres vs. Rangers NRFI (-140) | Vasquez vs. deGrom |
| Red Sox vs. Mariners NRFI (-150) | Suarez vs. Miller |
Brewers vs. Braves NRFI (-140)
Any time Jacob Misiorowski takes the hill, it’s an opportunity for bettors. The right-hander might be the best pitcher in baseball, putting up video game numbers. Through 87.0 innings of work, he’s notched a 1.34 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and a league-leading 131 strikeouts (13.6 K/9). Unsurprisingly, Milwaukee’s ace has been lights out during the first inning. He has a stellar NRFI rate of 84.6% this season. The Braves are a terrific offensive unit, so this won’t be easy. Still, I’d back the Miz against anyone in the majors right now.
As for Atlanta, it’ll be Martin Perez toeing the slab on Friday. It’s been a solid campaign for the veteran, a reliable presence in this Braves rotation. Over 62.0 innings pitched, he’s recorded a 2.90 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 51 strikeouts (7.4 K/9). He’s allowed a first inning run in three of ten starts (70% NRFI). This Brewers offense is formidable, but they can struggle against southpaws. Their .691 OPS against left-handed pitching is tenth-worst in baseball. To boot, Perez has a 1.67 ERA when playing at home.
Padres vs. Rangers NRFI (-140)
Randy Vasquez will take the bump this evening for San Diego. It’s been a breakout campaign for the righty, who has made major improvement when it comes to his velocity. Through 14 outings, he’s produced a 3.63 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 58 strikeouts (7.0 K/9). Surprisingly, the Dominican is much worse at home (4.99 ERA) than he is on the road (2.08 ERA). Now, he’ll face a Rangers offense that tends to struggle at home. They’re averaging 3.50 runs per game at home, third-worst in baseball. In addition, Texas is tied for the tenth-worst YRFI rate this season (28.38%).
The Rangers will hand the ball to their ace tonight in Jacob deGrom. It’s been a typically great season so far for the right-hander, still among the sport’s best pitchers. Over 76.2 innings of work (14 starts), he’s recorded a 3.17 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 89 strikeouts (10.4 K/9). deGrom has allowed just two earned runs during his last 17.0 innings (1.06 ERA). Now, he’ll take on arguably the worst offense in baseball at pitcher-friendly Globe Life Field. The Padres are averaging an MLB-worst 3.84 runs per game. In addition, San Diego’s 20.55% YRFI rate is third-worst in the league.
Red Sox vs. Mariners NRFI (-150)
In a potential pitcher’s duel, the Red Sox will send out Ranger Suarez. It’s been a decent debut for Boston’s offseason pickup. Through 70.0 innings (13 starts), he’s put up a 3.21 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 70 strikeouts (9.0 K/9). Since 2025, he’s delivered an impressive 85% NRFI rate. Now, he’ll take the mound at spacious T-Mobile Park. The Mariners are missing plenty of big bats, including Randy Arozarena and Brendan Donovan. As a unit, Seattle has an MLB-worst .637 OPS against left-handed pitching.
As for the home team, it’ll be Bryce Miller taking the hill. Since returning from injury in May, the righty has done his job. Over six outings (35.0 IP), he’s recorded a 1.54 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 36 strikeouts (9.3 K/9). In addition, Miller has yet to surrender a first inning run. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling against an inept Boston lineup. The Red Sox are averaging an American League-worst 3.92 runs per game. They’re also putting up an MLB-low 18.06% YRFI rate. It’s difficult to see that trend reversing course on the road against a talented hurler.
