BREAK IT DOWN:

(Stats taken from DraftKings Sportsbook’s Stats Hub)

Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+266): Alvarez was in Friday’s most bet player props and didn’t wait long at all to deliver a great payout to those that backed him. He hit a home run in his first at-bat in Kansas City against Luinder Avila, and he homered again later in the inning off Mason Black. His two homers give him 24 homers on the season, tying him with Kyle Schwarber for the major league lead. Alvarez has nine homers in his last 17 games with a 62.5% hard-hit rate and 20.8% barrel rate. He will be in a lefty-lefty matchup against Noah Cameron in Saturday’s matchup, but Cameron has allowed half of his homers against him to lefties, even though they only have 24.7% of the at-bats against him. This will be the first time Alvarez has faced Cameron, but as he reminded everyone yesterday, Alvarez is capable of going yard in just about any matchup. The public is back on Alvarez this Saturday after his monster Friday night performance.

James Wood 1+ Home Run (+278): Wood was also in yesterday’s most bet bets and delivered a home run for the public, going yard in the fourth inning off Bryce Miller. Wood has 19 homers on the season, with 11 of them at Nationals Park. On Saturday afternoon, he’ll have a favorable matchup against Luis Castillo in the second game of his team’s series against Seattle. Castillo has allowed eight homers in 13 games this season, and lefties like Wood have six of those long balls to go with a .224 ISO, 51.5% hard-hit rate and a 13.9% barrel rate against Castillo. Wood leads the majors in barrels per batted ball and barrels per plate appearance and has the third-highest hard-hit rate in the league. If he gets another barrel on Saturday, he has a great shot to add to his home run total and get his 20th dinger of the season.

Pete Alonso 1+ Home Run (+324): Pete Alonso of the Orioles claims the third spot in Saturday’s most bet player props, as he and the O’s take on Randy Vasquez and the Padres. In his first season with Baltimore, Alonso has smashed 15 homers in 71 games, including five in his last 15 contests. He is hitting .302 in that 15-game span with a .412 wOBA and a 54.8% hard-hit rate. Alonso homered off Vasquez in his only at-bat against him in their careers, and Vasquez has allowed 10 homers in 13 starts this season, including six to righties like Alonso.

3-Pick Same Game Parlay

Taking three of the most-bet player props individually is always an option, but why not roll them into a same game parlay (SGP) and get in on all the action at once? It’s a fun way to tie everything together — feel free to tag along.

Yordan Alvarez 1+ Home Run (+257)

James Wood 1+ Home Run (+278)

Pete Alonso 1+ Home Run (+324)

Parlay Odds: +5621
