Best Bet for Brazil vs. Morocco

  • Brazil Moneyline: After a disappointing quarter-finals exit in 2022, Brazil will want to get their 2026 tournament up and running with a win. This game is one of the best in the first round of the group stage, and I think the Brazilians find a way to win a competitive match.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup has finally arrived, and the opening match of Group C will feature one of the favorites, Brazil, facing off against Morocco.

Let’s dive into my favorite bet for this match.

Brazil vs. Morocco Prediction, Pick

Brazil enters the World Cup ranked sixth in the FIFA rankings, while Morocco comes in at seventh in the world.

Many people will just see the name Brazil in this game and assume it will be an easy win, but that’s not the case. Even though I am taking Brazil to win, they will certainly have their hands full against a talented and accomplished Morocco squad.

Even so, I expect the Brazilians to find a way to win this one. They have too much offensive talent to have another lackluster World Cup campaign. The likes of Vinicius Junior, Raphinha and Matheus Cunha are all some of the best at their respective positions in the world. Brazil didn’t play at their best during CONMEBOL qualifying, finishing fifth in the table behind Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia and Uruguay. Luckily for them, it doesn’t matter. All that matters is how they perform under the biggest lights.

This Morocco team are no scrubs. They made it to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup in a Cinderella run, and also featured in a highly controversial AFCON final. This team has shown that they can make deep runs in big tournaments, but Brazil are one of the favorites to win the tournament for a reason.

It’s not just their attacking stars. They have Liverpool’s Alisson Becker in goal, high-quality defenders such as Gabriel Magalhães and Marquinhos, and their midfield isn’t too shabby either with the likes of Bruno Guimarães and Casemiro. It’s a talented squad, and even though I do expect both of these teams to make the knockout rounds, Brazil will get the three points in the opening match of Group C.
