Love Island UK Episode 9 Recap 6/11/26
Picking up on Movie Night from the end of last episode, the girls got a better look at how the new bombshells – Namibia and Victoria – interacted with each of the boys on their surprise dates. Jasmine wasn’t very happy with how Lorenzo dismissed her during his date with Namibia, while Ope also got himself in hot water with Angelista by acting a little desperate with Victoria. The girls were much more supportive of Samraj with Victoria, as well as Kavan with Namibia and Sean with Victoria. Sam got to share a chat with Namibia, hopefully looking to make a real romantic connection amid his friendship couple with Robyn.
Jasmine and Angelista pulled Lorenzo and Ope for chats to sort through what went wrong the moment they got back. Yasmin gave Aidan a talking to, as well, after his date and when he accidentally called her Ellie earlier in the day. While those boys were getting scolded, Sean and Lola shared a kiss to close out Day 5.
The morning of Day 6, Sam made Victoria a tea and she pulled him for a chat to get to know him a little better. Namibia talked to Aidan, only for Ellie to interrupt them and propose a three-way conversation between him, her and Yasmin, so Namibia and Sam got to know each other a little better instead. Victoria pulled Ope for a chat, drawing a bit of a death glare from Angelista, but the two girls eventually talked things out on their own. Lorenzo got a little cozy with Priya in a few different spots in the villa before they eventually kissed in the Hideaway. Jasmine and Kavan spotted them coming out, so there isn’t hiding anything anymore.

Why Did George Leave Love Island UK?
In case you were wondering why George suddenly disappeared without any kind of send off midway through Episode 7, he had personal matters to attend to outside of the villa. In an interview this past week, George revealed that an immediate family member had a health issue. He was aware of the health problem beforehand, but that it escalated unexpectedly. George’s parents contacted the producers, who let the contestant know what was going on. After talking to his parents, George decided he was best off just going home.
George Knight is a 28-year-old soccer player. He played college soccer in the US at Lander University and has since been a member of Bracknell Town and Dorking Wanderers back in England. George arrived as a bombshell alongside Yasmin on Day 2. They unilaterally chose to dump Samraj and Ellie from the villa, only for both of them to get second chances and stick around in a recoupling on Day 4. George ultimately coupled up with Mica, but shared a kiss with Robyn. He left on Day 5, leaving Mica single in the process.
