Yordan Alvarez More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Yordan Alvarez is having a special season in Houston. He ranks in the top six in the MLB in batting average, home runs, RBIs and OPS. Alvarez started the season as the hottest hitter in baseball and has just refused to cool off. Over the last 15 days, Alvarez is batting .380 with a 1.280 OPS. He should keep it going tonight against Reid Detmers. Alvarez has been excellent in every situation this season, but he has been slightly better against lefties, with a 1.100 OPS against southpaws this season. Alvarez is also 5/16 with three extra-base hits in his career against Detmers. That includes Detmers’ first start of this season, which came against the Astros. Alvarez was hit by a pitch and then doubled against Detmers in that game. Yordan Alvarez should keep his excellent season going and record an extra-base hit in this game.
Bryson Stott More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Bryson Stott could be in for a big game tonight. Max Scherzer is making his return from the IL, and it’s hard to trust Scherzer in this spot. He has not been good this season, with a 9.64 ERA and a 1.61 WHIP to his name. In two of his last three starts before hitting the IL, he only lasted 2.1 innings. Across those combined 4.2 innings, he gave up 15 runs. Scherzer does not have the great stuff that won him three Cy Youngs once upon a time. He has been particularly bad against lefties. Left-handed hitters have batted .314 with a 1.037 OPS against Scherzer this season. Stott has also crushed Scherzer over the years, even when Scherzer was in much better form. Stott is 8/13 with a 1.335 OPS in his career against Scherzer. He has gone over this number in each of his past three games and should keep it going tonight.
Pete Alonso More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Pete Alonso has had an up-and-down season so far. However, this is a good matchup for him to take advantage of. George Kirby has a 4.04 ERA and a 1.28 WHIP this season. Kirby has been worse against right-handed hitters, with righties batting .295 against Kirby this season. Kirby struggled in his most recent start, giving up five runs (four earned) against the Mets in four innings of work. Over his last four starts, her ERA is 6.23. Pete Alonso is 3/5 with a home run in his career against George Kirby. Alonso has not been consistent at the plate, but when he gets a hit, he almost always generates a run. In eight of his past nine games where he has recorded a hit, he has also scored or driven in a run. Pete Alonso should get over this number tonight against the Mariners.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
