Caitlin Clark O 18.5 Points (-122)
Clark has struggled recently, scoring as low as six and as high as 17 in her last four starts. However, she faced three of the top-six rated defenses in the league during this stretch. Clark should get back on track tonight vs. the Mystics. Washington ranks 11th in defensive rating and it is giving up the second-most made three-pointers per game this season (9.4).
Clark has faced the Mystics once this season. That night, she went nuts for 32 points, including 7-of-17 from beyond the arc. Clark ranks fifth in the NBA in usage rate (29.6%) and with Aliyah Boston (questionable, leg) beat up, the Fever should rely on Clark even more than usual tonight. The superstar is in a great position to have a vintage performance and 18.5 points is just too low of a bar for Clark in this situation.
Leila Lacan U 4.5 Assists (+107)
At this plus money price, backing Lacan for under 4.5 assists has a ton of merit. She just made her season debut with the Sun three games ago after competing overseas in France and in her first three games of the season, Lacan has finished with just three, five, and two assists.
That final performance came this past Friday vs. the Sky and Lacan finished with just two assists despite logging a season-high 34 minutes. The 22-year-old’s assist rate this season is 5.0 percentage points lower than last season and facing a Liberty defense tonight that ranks third in rating, Lacan finishing with a low number of assists feels likely, especially with the Sun being a huge 12.5-point underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Natisha Hiedeman O 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (-129)
Hiedeman is in the midst of the best season of her career. The lefty is averaging 13.5 PPG while handling a 25% usage rate, both of which are career highs. After struggling with her outside shot to begin the season, Hideman is shooting 37% on three-pointers. She is averaging 2.3 made treys on 6.3 attempts per game in her last nine.
During this run, Hiedeman has knocked down 3+ treys in 6-of-9 games, including in two straight contests entering tonight’s matchup vs. the Aces. This Las Vegas team that ranks third in pace is allowing the second-most made treys per game (9.4) on the fourth-highest three-point percentage in the league this season (36.2%). This is a great matchup for Hiedeman to stay hot from deep and she is an excellent bet for over 1.5 made three-pointers at this reasonable -129 price.
