Washington Mystics forward Kiki Iriafen left Monday’s game against the Indiana Fever early due to injury.

Iriafen exited during the first half with an ankle issue with the help of a teammate. She was subsequently ruled out for the remainder of the game due to a right ankle sprain.

Iriafen, 22 years old, was named Co-Rookie of the Year last season and earned an All-Star nod. This year, she’s averaging 16.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game for the Mystics. All three marks are up compared to last season’s production, and she’s notably jumped to shooting 54.2% from the field and 35.7% from three as well.

The Mystics are 4-5 on the young season prior to the conclusion of tonight’s game vs. the Fever, placing them fifth in the Eastern Conference and 11th in the WNBA standings.
