The New York Knicks have taken a commanding 2-0 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs, with the action traveling to New York tonight. San Antonio must play with the necessary desperation and fight to keep their championship hopes alive following the missed opportunity in Game 2.

Looking at the odds for tonight’s matchup, the Knicks enter as a narrow 1.5-point favorite with -125 Moneyline odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Spurs are +105 underdogs, with the game total set at 215.5 points.

Knicks at Spurs Same Game Parlay:

  • OG Anunoby to Record 2+ Made Three-Pointers
  • Dylan Harper Over 14.5 Points
  • Victor Wembanyama to Record 11+ Rebounds

OG Anunoby to Record 2+ Made Three-Pointers (-204)

The New York Knicks have made a major statement to start the series with a complete team effort. OG Anunoby has been a key part of this, looking fearless under the brightest lights. Across the regular season, he posted averages of 16.7 points and 5.2 rebounds, while shooting 38.6% from beyond the three-point arc on 6.8 perimeter shots per game. Anunoby made two or more three-pointers in 44 of his 67 games played. Since the playoffs kicked off, the two-time All-Defensive team member is averaging 19.3 points and 6.4 rebounds, while shooting 47.8% from beyond the three-point arc on 4.9 perimeter shots per game. He has knocked two or more three-pointers in 12 of the 14 postseason games, including both games in this series. The standard prop line is set at 2.5 made three-pointers on DraftKings Sportsbook, but I am bumping it down a notch for some added security. Count on Anunoby continuing to be a major part of this Knicks attack and connecting with a pair of triples tonight.

Dylan Harper Over 14.5 Points (-102)

The San Antonio Spurs have gotten a massive boost from rookie guard Dylan Harper all season, and especially in this series. Through the opening two matchups, the Spurs are posting a +4.6 net rating when he is on the floor and a -20.3 net rating when he has been on the bench. His impact has been evident, and expect San Antonio to lean on him at a greater rate given the context of the series. Harper has finished with 15 and 16 points in the opening two games of this series, and tallied over 14.5 points in nine playoff games across this run. While De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle are impacting the game, Harper has proven ready for the moment, and the Spurs will need to lean on him tonight. He has done an impressive job of moving off-ball and getting out in transition for easy scoring opportunities. Harper has been a difference-maker thus far in the series, and he should tally over 14.5 points for the third straight game in a matchup that he will be called on at a greater rate.

Victor Wembanyama to Record 11+ Rebounds (-181)

When it comes to the outlook for the Spurs, it starts with Victor Wembanyama. The unanimous Defensive Player of the Year will be eager to redeem the missed opportunity in Game 2, in which he had a costly turnover and missed a game-winning shot opportunity to cement the loss. Wembanyama needs to do a better job of utilizing his size for easy basket opportunities and dominating on the boards. Across the regular season, Wembanyama averaged 11.5 rebounds per game and tallied 11 or more in 38 of his 64 games played. Since the postseason kicked off, Wembanyama has seen his rebounding output slip to 10.7 rebounds per game. He has tallied 11 or more rebounds in nine of the 19 games played. The Frenchman pulled in 12 rebounds in the series opener and was limited to nine boards in Game 2. There is still no answer on this Knicks’ roster for his size and skill set. This is an important matchup for Wembanyama to show off his resiliency and set the tone for San Antonio. While the team’s youth showed up for the first time all season in the previous matchup, they have carried themselves with plenty of maturity all year, and are unlikely to just roll over. Wembanyama is not afraid to let his emotions show, and expect a clear effort to dominate the boards tonight with 11 rebounds being a comfortable bar for him to reach.
