The San Antonio Spurs, down 2-0 in the NBA Finals, are going to need a miracle to pull this series back within reach. De’Aaron Fox delivered his best performance in weeks last time out, and in tonight’s Game 3 at Madison Square Garden, he’ll need to be at his best to keep the season from slipping out of his team’s grasp.

Here are the top De’Aaron Fox prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Monday’s Spurs vs. Knicks Game 3 in the NBA Finals.

Best De’Aaron Fox prop bets

In his first full season with San Antonio, De’Aaron Fox played 72 contests with plenty of statistical success. Over that span, the veteran point guard averaged 18.6 points, 6.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds a game with a 48.6% FG%, the second best of his career. He was also second in usage rate behind only Victor Wembanyama, so it’s tough to overstate how important a role he played in the team’s turnaround to an NBA Finals contender.

While he had a very solid first two rounds of the postseason, Fox suffered an ankle injury that sidelined him for the first two games of the Western Conference Finals. His averages across the entire postseason sit at 16.1 points, 5.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds on a 43.6% FG%, but he didn’t look like himself on the floor for the majority of games since he returned from that issue. Since then, he’s posted just 11.9 points, 5.9 dimes and 4.7 rebounds on a paltry 38.6% FG%.

Tonight, DraftKings Sportsbook lists Fox’s prop bet lines at O/U 14.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.5 three pointers. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 24.5.

Fox finally broke through with an efficient 20-point outing in Game 2 of the Finals, hitting 8-of-12 shots from the field to convert at a 66.7% clip. He also knocked down both of his three-point attempts, which seems to be a rarity as of late.

However, he’s still a player to fade in tonight’s matchup. His combined PTS + AST line comes in at 20.5, which may seem a little low given his playoff average of 21.9 in the combined categories. The last few games haven’t been too kind to him in this regard though, especially since Fox has remained under tonight’s line in five-of-seven games since returning from injury to start the Western Conference Finals. He failed to reach even 20 PTS + AST in four of those contests as well, averaging just 17.8 since then. With his poor shooting for the most part since the injury and an excellent Knicks defense on the other side, I’d much rather take the under on this prop bet and continue to fade Fox given his recent form.

Best bet: De’Aaron Fox under 20.5 PTS + AST (-106)
