UPDATE: The Red Sox and Yankees have started today’s matchup after less than a half-hour delay from the scheduled first pitch.

The start of Sunday’s Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees matchup has been delayed due to weather. First pitch was originally scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET, but some thunderstorms have prevented this target time. This also comes after last night’s game was postponed due to weather issues, and that will be made up in August.

There remains optimism that the game will be played today once the storms pass, and more information will be provided as it is made available by the teams. Ranger Suarez and Cam Schlittler are the expected starting pitchers for the rivalry matchup.

Looking at the odds, the Yankees enter this matchup as -149 favorites and hold +143 odds of covering the -1.5 run line on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Red Sox hold +123 odds of pulling off the outright upset, with the game total set at eight runs.

Stay tuned to DK Network for live updates on the rain delay.
