Best OG Anunoby prop bets for Knicks vs. Spurs NBA Finals Game 2 on Friday 6/5/26

OG Anunoby and the New York Knicks have taken a 1-0 series lead over the San Antonio Spurs to extend their postseason winning streak to 12 games. The action will remain in San Antonio tonight, where the Spurs will fight desperately to even up the series while the Knicks will attempt to take a commanding 2-0 series lead before heading back to New York. Anunoby continues to excel in his role on this Knicks team, finishing the NBA Finals opener with 17 points, three rebounds, a block, and a steal.

Looking at the odds for the NBA Finals Game 2 matchup, the Spurs enter as 6.5-point favorites and hold -245 odds of winning outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Knicks hold +200 odds of pulling off the outright upset, with the game total set at 215.5.

Let’s dive into my favorite OG Anunoby player props for the Game 2 NBA Finals contest.

OG Anunoby Over 5.5 Rebounds (+113)

Standing 6-foot-7 and built like a brick house, OG Anunoby is a physically commanding presence who will make his impact felt on the boards tonight. Across the regular season, the Indiana product averaged 5.2 rebounds per game, which marks his most since the 2021-22 season when he was still in Toronto. Anunoby tallied over 5.5 rebounds in 31 of his 67 games played across the regular season.

Since the playoffs kicked off, Anunoby has seen his rebounding production grow to 6.6 boards per game. He has pulled in over 5.5 rebounds in eight of his 13 games played. This includes opening up the postseason by eclipsing this line in six straight games.

In the opening matchup of this series, Anunoby was limited to just three rebounds, which tied his playoff low. But there is plenty of rebounding production in Game 1 that did not feel repeatable. Josh Hart tallied 15 rebounds, Karl-Anthony Towns grabbed 12 boards, Julian Champagnie pulled in 10, and Devin Vassell and Stephon Castle combined for 17. Each of these individual rebounding efforts was comfortably above the average for each player mentioned.

It will be interesting to see how New York shifts their defensive strategy following the opening game success. Entering the series, the expectation was widely that Anunoby would be tasked with slowing down Victor Wembanyama. Since Wembanyama came into the NBA, there have been only 20 players who have defended him for at least 100 half-court matchups. Anunoby leads all qualifying players with the fewest points per 100 matchups allowed in these opportunities. New York largely leaned on Karl-Anthony Towns to take on the challenge in Game 1. While you cannot argue with the results, the 6-for-21 shooting performance from Wembanyama felt more self-induced than what Towns did specifically.

There will be plenty of basketball chess played between these two coaches in this series. Towns has a tendency to end up in foul trouble even under the best of circumstances, and Wembanyama’s ability adds to this concern. Whether by scheme or by need, expect Anunoby to take on this matchup at a more frequent rate. This will also lead to him being put in a much more favorable position for rebounding opportunities. The three rebounds he pulled in during Game 1 were an outlier from Anunoby’s perspective. Expect him to get back to grabbing boards at a high rate and record over 5.5 rebounds for the ninth time in this playoff run.

OG Anunoby Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (+135)

After entering the league with a defensive-minded identity, Anunoby has turned himself into a true elite three-and-D player. Across the regular season, he averaged 16.7 points per game and shot 38.6% from beyond the three-point arc on 6.1 perimeter shots per game. The former NBA Champion knocked down over 2.5 three-pointers in 27 games. His scoring and efficiency have further improved in the postseason, as Anunoby is averaging 19.5 points per game and shooting 48.4% from beyond the three-point arc. He has connected with over 2.5 made three-pointers in five postseason games, with at least one made perimeter shot in every game he has been active for.

This includes the opening matchup of Game 1 of this series. Anunoby shot 3-for-6 from the perimeter and finished with 17 points. However, it was the entirety of the Knicks roster that took a backseat to Jalen Brunson down the stretch. The Knicks’ star finished with 30 points on 31 shot attempts, more than double the volume of any other player on the roster.

Brunson deserves credit for hitting every necessary shot down the stretch and was limited to two assists due to the straightforward defensive coverage. Expect San Antonio to be less willing to let the Knicks star get to his spots on the floor and make more of an effort to get the ball out of his hands. This will free up more shot opportunities in the flow of the Knicks’ offense, and Anunoby will be one of the biggest beneficiaries. The two-time All-Defensive team member tallied over 2.5 made three-pointers in Game 1, even with limited shot volume. Expect more chances tonight and for Anunoby to continue delivering for this Knicks team.
