Kelsey Mitchell U 19.5 Points (-123)
Mitchell is averaging 20.6 PPG this season, but this number is inflated after a hot start to her campaign. The guard opened the season scoring at least 23 points in her first three, but since then, Mitchell has scored 19 points or less in four of her last five.
With Caitlin Clark healthy, Mitchell’s usage has dropped from 27.7% last season to 26.9% this season, and she is in a brutal spot tonight vs. the Dream, who rank second in defensive rating this season. Atlanta has held it’s last two opponents to just 66 and 75 points, and Mitchell exceeding this high 19.5-point scoring line in this matchup is unlikely.
Caitlin Clark U 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-132)
Continuing with the Fever facing the Dream’s stout defense, Clark is a strong bet for under 2.5 made three-pointers. Atlanta’s No.2 rated defense is giving up the fewest made three-pointers per game (6.3) on the lowest three-point percentage in the league this season (27.3%). Only two players have hit 3+ treys vs. the Dream and it hasn’t happened in five straight games.
Obviously, very few players can get hot from deep like Clark, but her outside shooting hasn’t been great this season, shooting just 33% on three-pointers. Clark has fallen short of 2.5 made three-pointers in 5-of-7 games and she notably went without a make from beyond the arc in her last start, when she faced the Fire this past Saturday.
Olivia Miles O 20.5 Points + Assists (-127)
Miles is in a difficult spot tonight vs. the Valkyries, who rank dead last in pace and third in defensive rating. However, the rookie is thriving right now and this 20.5 PA line is too low for her in any matchup.
Miles is averaging 15.8 points and 6.3 assists in 30.5 minutes per game this season. The No.2 overall pick from this past WNBA draft is shooting 50% from the field, handling a 23% usage rate and leading the Lynx with a 37.5% assist rate. Miles has been one of the main reasons for Minnesota’s hot start – the club is 7-2 and leads the league in net rating – and she should clear 20.5 PA tonight, which is something she has accomplished in 5-of-9 games.
