Amid the fallout from Wednesday’s dramatic couple shakeup, Beatriz pulled Sean for a chat to explain her flight to Paradise Cove. The track star revealed that she’s still open to exploring their connection, though she didn’t want to close things off after 24 hours on the island. Sean respected her decision, and the pair left things on solid terms.
Kenzie, however, had no interest in hearing Zach out, spurning several offers to chat.
In an unexpected pivot, Sincere — happily coupled up with Melanie — sparked up a conversation with Kayda. “Just because you have two fishes,” he reasoned, ever so poetically. “Doesn’t mean you have to put one back.” After learning about the interaction from Aniya, Melanie shed a few tears and expressed her fear that she might be messing things up.
And with Beatriz watching from a distance, Gabriel shared a steamy conversation with Kenzie. “I’m not blind,” Beatriz later acknowledged to Trinity. “I’m just missing my leg.”
Rounding out the evening, the islanders lined up along the pool for a game of truths, in which cast members read out a secret and guessed who it belonged to. Fittingly, they locked in their final answer by pushing their suspect into the water. It was all fun and games — except for Melanie and Sincere, who were visibly perturbed when it was revealed that she ghosted a guy in high school and that he used to text girls outside of his relationship.
Chatting afterward, and with several islanders eavesdropping, Sincere emphasized that he wants to stay in a couple. Melanie, however, wasn’t convinced, saying, “I don’t know how sincere you’re being.”
