Love Island USA shook up its release schedule with an atypical Wednesday night episode, picking up hot on the heels of the season premiere’s dramatic shakeup — which saw only two OG couples survive the first 24 hours.
Bryce, Zach, Trinity, and Beatriz spent the day getting up close and personal with bombshells Kayda and Gabriel. While Sean struggled to grasp Beatriz’s decision to explore a new connection, Zach’s flee for Paradise Cove initially left Kenzie in emotional disarray, with her likening Season 7 standout Charlie’s younger brother to a “cheater.”
Sincere had the privilege of yelling out Season 8’s first “I got a text!” which directed the islanders to the firepit, where the returning singles and the bombshells joined them for “decision time.”
To Sean’s chagrin, Gabriel locked in his pick by sharing a smooch with Beatriz. Shortly after, Kayda locked lips with Zach.
Since neither Trinity nor Bryce got picked, they fittingly remained a couple. However, Kenzie and Sean ended the episode as the two worst things you can be on Love Island: single and vulnerable.
