Thursday’s slate features a full schedule of games, highlighted by Zack Wheeler continuing his steady run for Philadelphia, Gerrit Cole carrying 12.2 shutout innings into his matchup with Cleveland, and Chris Sale extending a dominant season for Atlanta against Toronto.

San Diego Padres vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

  • San Diego Padres: Lucas Giolito
  • Philadelphia Phillies: Zack Wheeler
  • Time: 1:05 PM ET

Through three starts, Giolito has a 4.97 ERA, a 5.04 xERA, a 7.28 FIP, and an 8.5 BB/9. Wheeler hasn’t allowed more than two earned runs in five of his seven starts.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox Probable Pitchers

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees Probable Pitchers

On the road, Cecconi has a 5.74 ERA with a .363 wOBA and seven of the nine home runs he’s allowed. Rodon has a massive 6.1 BB/9 through his first four starts.

New York Mets vs. Seattle Mariners Probable Pitchers

Peralta has been his best on the road, posting a 3.13 ERA with a .282 wOBA and a 4.21 FIP. Over his last three starts, Kirby has allowed 13 runs on 21 hits through 17 innings.

San Diego Padres vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

Sanchez continues to dominate, posting a 1.47 ERA with an xERA of 2.90 and a 1.82 FIP.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Boston Red Sox Probable Pitchers

Bassitt has allowed at least four earned runs in five of his nine starts this season. Tolle has been fantastic since being called up, posting a 2.61 ERA with a 2.20 xERA and a 2.67 FIP in seven starts.

Cleveland Guardians vs. New York Yankees Probable Pitchers

Williams’ 10.3 K/9 is currently a new career high. Since returning from Tommy John surgery, Cole has tossed 12.2 shutout innings.

San Francisco Giants vs. Milwaukee Brewers Probable Pitchers

Houser continues to struggle against lefties with a .462 wOBA, a 6.60 FIP, and seven of the nine home runs he’s allowed. In three starts, Crow has a 3.14 ERA with an xERA of 5.02.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Atlanta Braves Probable Pitchers

After a rough stretch, Lugo has bounced back lately, allowing just six runs on 17 hits through 18.1 innings.

Athletics vs. Chicago Cubs Probable Pitchers

  • Chicago Cubs: Shota Imanaga
  • Time: 8:05 PM ET

Ginn hasn’t allowed more than two earned runs in five straight starts. Imanaga has been getting hammered lately, allowing 20 runs on 21 hits, including eight home runs over his last 15.2 innings.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Houston Astros Probable Pitchers

  • Pittsburgh Pirates: Jared Jones
  • Houston Astros: Kai-Wei Teng
  • Time: 8:10 PM ET

In his first start since Tommy John surgery, Jones allowed five runs on seven hits with six strikeouts against the Twins. As a starter, Teng has a 3.27 ERA with a .322 wOBA and a 4.09 FIP.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Probable Pitchers

  • Arizona Diamondbacks: Ryne Nelson

Wrobleski struck out a season-high nine in his last start against the Phillies. Nelson allowed four home runs in his last start against the Mariners.
