The Las Vegas Aces are rolling once again, but they’ll have to go shorthanded on Tuesday night. Two of their key bench players, Jewell Loyd and Chennedy Carter, have been ruled out of tonight’s clash with the Sparks.
Loyd missed their last game with the same injury and is averaging 7.3 points per game on 32.1% shooting in what has been a disappointing start to the season. Carter took a hard fall in that game, and though she stuck around for the rest of the night, she’ll be sidelined tonight. Chennedy has been a revelation for the Aces, averaging 17.5 PPG on 65.1% shooting.
With Dana Evans still out, all three of Las Vegas’ backup guards are out. That puts an extra burden on the Chelsea Gray-Jackie Young backcourt, and they’ll have to rely on some bigger bench units.
