Just three days after the Knicks swept the Cavaliers to advance to the NBA Finals, it was reported that Mitchell Robinson had suffered a broken pinky finger. The news came just six days ahead of Game 1, but all reports since have been that he had a successful surgery and plans to play in the opening game of the NBA Finals.
The first official injury report is now out ahead of Wednesday’s game, and Robinson is officially listed as questionable with that pinky injury. Robinson being able to suit up would be a huge boost for New York, as his rim protection and shot blocking ability will be huge in this series when it comes to slowing down Victor Wembanyama.
The Spurs are 4.5-point favorites and -185 on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook for Game 1 in San Antonio. The Knicks are +154, with the game total set at 218.5 points.
