The NBA Finals are set at last. The New York Knicks will face the San Antonio Spurs in a best-of-seven series.

It took all seven games for the Western Conference to crown a champion, while New York waited nearly a week after sweeping the Cleveland Cavaliers. Nonetheless, the matchup is set with the Spurs earning home-court advantage for the series.

Let’s take a look at the opening odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for this NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs.

Knicks vs. Spurs Game 1 Opening Odds

The Spurs open as 4.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Knicks are +154 on the moneyline, with the game total set at over/under 217.5.

Game 7 between the Thunder and Spurs was everything an NBA fan could ask for. Both teams traded leads with the game coming down to the final few minutes. Ultimately, the Spurs won and will return to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2014. It’ll be a rematch of the 1999 NBA Finals, which San Antonio won.

New York won the Eastern Conference on Monday, May 25 in a sweep of the Cavaliers. With so much time off, there’s been a lot of prep work as the Western Conference Finals wrapped up. The added rest time could be beneficial or detrimental, depending on how one looks at it. After an extended break between the semifinals and Eastern Conference Finals, the Knicks looked rusty early in Game 1 against Cleveland before their historic comeback.

Unlike the conference finals, both teams will get a few days rest. Game 1 will be played on Wednesday, June 3 in San Antonio at 8:30 p.m. ET.
