The WWE is back with their third premium live event this month, including Saturday Night’s Main Event! WWE Clash in Italy is taking place at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, on Sunday, May 31. This is WWE’s fifth edition of their international “Clash” event. It began in 2022 with Clash at the Castle and most recently became Clash in Paris in August 2025. Sunday’s Clash in Italy card will air on ESPN for the first hour and on ESPN Unlimited throughout the entire event.
Clash in Italy features a stacked five-match card with four championships on the line. This card also has four rematches between wrestlers who have previously faced off. The two most significant matches on this card are: Roman Reigns vs. Jacob and Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther.

WWE Clash in Italy Predictions and Full Card
WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Jacob Fatu
For the third time in history, a Tribal Combat match will take place. Roman Reigns is 2-0 in Tribal Combat matches as he beat Solo Sikoa and Jey Uso. Now, another family member, Jacob Fatu, will look to dethrone Reigns as the Head of the Table and become the new Tribal Chief for the Bloodline. Reigns and Fatu went toe to toe for the World title at Backlash, but now the stakes are raised for their second showdown.
Since this is Tribal Combat, I expect the Usos to appear on Reigns’ behalf to help him against Fatu. Fatu has shown he has all the tools to become a future champion. But being the champion and holding the title of Tribal Chief carry different meanings. As Tribal Chief, you take on the responsibility of leading one of the greatest families in professional wrestling history. Although Fatu could become that guy in the future, Reigns’ time as Tribal Chief doesn’t seem ready to end.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Gunther
After Cody Rhodes beat Randy Orton at WrestleMania, it was unknown who his next opponent would be. Gunther made a shocking appearance on SmackDown weeks ago and attacked Rhodes, leading to Sunday’s match.
Do I think Gunther will eventually become Undisputed WWE Champion? Yes, I do. But it seems like his story and feud with Cody Rhodes is only just beginning. Gunther has brought out a new side of the American Nightmare over the last few weeks. Rhodes’ current title reign has lasted a little under three months, and it doesn’t feel like the perfect time for it to end.
Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther Prediction: Cody Rhodes retains the Undisputed WWE Championship against Gunther.
WWE Women’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill
Rhea Ripley beat Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42, and now the two will have a rematch. Although Cargill hasn’t won a singles match in over a month, I think this match will play out similarly to the one in Las Vegas. Ripley is arguably the greatest women’s wrestler in WWE, and it is fitting that she has gold for the foreseeable future.
Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill Prediction: Rhea Ripley retains the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill.
Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca
After their match at Saturday Night’s Main Event ended early due to disqualification, they will run it back with Lynch’s title on the line. Although Lynch has done an excellent job with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, a victory for Ruca would be huge for her and WWE.
Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca Prediction: Sol Ruca defeats Becky Lynch to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Singles Match: Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi
Triple H has labeled this “possibly the most anticipated rematch in history”. Although I may not agree with that, Lesnar and Femi should deliver another must-see showdown. After losing to Femi at WrestleMania 42, it would be surprising to see Lesnar lose two consecutive matches against the young star. I think Lesnar picks up the victory in Italy, which could lead to a trilogy match between the two.
