Women’s strawweights collide on Saturday, as longtime Octagon veteran Angela Hill takes on the debuting Jingnan Xiong at UFC Macau.
Hill (18–16, 13–16 UFC) has dropped three of her last four bouts, capped by a unanimous decision loss to Fatima Kline in November. Xiong (19–2, 0–0 UFC) arrives after an illustrious run in ONE Championship, punctuated by a decision win over Meng Bo in March 2025.
Xiong enters as a strong -198 moneyline favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook. Hill is a +164 underdog, with the total set at O/U 2.5 rounds.

Angela Hill (#14)
Angela Hill has remained a fixture at 115 pounds for well over a decade. However, save for a brief moment in 2024, she has struggled to establish much of a foothold in the division. “Overkill” Hill is just 13–16 inside the Octagon, perpetually stuck on the fringe of the top 10.
A lack of stoppage wins has further slowed her rise. While Hill trails only Max Holloway and Sean Strickland for the most significant strikes landed in UFC history, only six of her 18 professional wins have come inside the distance. She’s recorded just one finish — a second-round submission of Luana Pinheiro — in the last six years. Now 41, and having dropped three of her last four bouts, Hill’s time at the top may be running thin.
Jingnan Xiong
While it may be her first trip to the Octagon, Jingnan Xiong is no stranger to the cage. The Chinese contender, 38, arrives with a wealth of MMA experience — highlighted by a dominant championship reign in ONE Championship. “The Panda” went an excellent 11–1 inside the Circle, defending her strawweight title seven times before the promotion shut down the division and released her.
The Chinese competitor enters Saturday night on a five-fight surge, edging four straight decisions between 2020 and 2022 before returning with another UD win over Meng Bo in March 2025. While the decorated striker has 10 knockout victories on her resume, Xiong will be hunting her first stoppage since 2019 when she faces Hill.
Hill vs. Xiong Pick, Best Bet
Xiong is well-positioned to flourish in her UFC debut, facing another veteran, while holding distinct height, age, and striking advantages. The former ONE champion should hit the ground running in MMA’s flagship promotion. But given her recent form — and the fact that Hill has never been knocked out — a stoppage seems unlikely.
