BREAK IT DOWN:

Natisha Hiedeman Over 4.5 Assists (-108)

Let me start with one stat to explain why the public is so fond of the over here: Hiedeman has recorded five or more assists in each of the Storm’s last three games. Good? Good. The 29-year-old is currently leading the Storm in points per game at 13.7 — excluding Dominique Malonga, who has only played three games this season — and has been a solid distributor on the floor. Paired with guard Jade Melbourne, Hiedeman and Melbourne both average 4+ assists per game, while the former has hit the over on the 4.5 assist line in each of her last three contests. In fact, the last outing came against tonight’s opponent, the Mystics, and she not only scored 24 points in the win but also added five assists to her tally.

Marina Mabrey 5+ Rebounds (+147)

Mabrey has immediately fallen into a solid offensive role in her new home of Toronto, averaging 18.0 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game. While she isn’t the main threat to clean up the glass, Mabrey has recorded 5+ boards in three games this season and is versatile enough to hit that number again. She’ll face the Chicago Sky tonight, who were previously a very strong rebounding team due to Angel Reese’s dominance, but now hover around 34.8 RPG, fifth in the league. While 5+ rebounds isn’t guaranteed, there is great value to grab here for the 6’1″ guard leading a young, fresh franchise.

Natasha Cloud 15+ Points (+132)

Cloud is coming off a disappointing outing against the Lynx in which she notched just six points on 2-of-6 shooting from the field. However, in the game prior, the veteran shot 50% from the field and totaled 21 points and eight rebounds. So, what changed? For one, the Minnesota Lynx play aggressive defense, sitting third in defensive rating (100.4) while holding teams to just 39.1% shooting from the field. In Cloud’s 21-point outing, she faced the Wings — a high-paced, offensively minded team that sits ninth in defensive rating (106.9). Tonight, Cloud draws an even softer defensive matchup against the Tempo, who have struggled to slow offenses down. Toronto is allowing 89.3 points per game to opponents (12th) while surrendering a league-worst 50.1 FG% to opposing teams. With Rickea Jackson out for the season due to a torn ACL, scorers need to step up for the Sky, and tonight could very well be Cloud’s bounce-back spot.
