Best anytime goal scorer props for Tuesday 5/26/26
Rasmus Andersson anytime goal scorer (+600)
We’ll start with a superb long-shot pick for tonight by way of Rasmus Andersson. The standout veteran defenseman was traded to Vegas for a haul after spending his career since 2016-17 with Calgary. Over the course of his 81 games in the regular season, he set a new career high in goals with a grand total of 17, also setting a new high mark with 178 shots on goal. Those 17 goals put him eighth in the stat among all blueliners across the NHL, which certainly matters for this prop market as we seek out anytime goal scorers. In 33 games with the Golden Knights, he notched seven goals and averaged 2.0 shots on goal per game, shooting what would be a career-best 10.6% on such attempts. Despite the regular-season success, he’s still yet to record a goal in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Andersson has 22 shots on goal this postseason but nothing to show for those. With an average of 23:48 on the ice and his offensive bag, he’s bound to sound the horn at some point during this playoff run.
Nazem Kadri anytime goal scorer (+310)
Apparently former Flames skaters are our flavor of the day! Nazem Kadri, a teammate of Andersson’s who was also traded away, made his way to Colorado for the second stint there in his career. The forward had a pretty rough regular season overall with only 16 goals in 77 games, matching his lowest output since the 2020-21 season when he played just 56 games. However, he did pick up the pace somewhat with the Avalanche, scoring four goals in 16 games for a slightly better per-contest average. In 12 games this postseason, Kadri has three goals on a total of 35 shots, the latter of which ties him for the second-most attempts of any Avs skater. His shooting percentage of 8.6% is on the lower side, but the volume has largely been there and he has 10 shots on goal in three games of this series alone. With Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar playing hurt while Martin Necas struggles to find the back of the net, Kadri makes for an excellent value pick.
