The Oklahoma City Thunder are back on track, winning two straight games against the San Antonio Spurs to reclaim home-court advantage and go up 2-1 in the Western Conference Finals. But unfortunately for OKC, the squad will be without a key contributor for Game 4 on Sunday.

Ajay Mitchell, who suffered a calf injury during Game 3, has been ruled out.

Mitchell, 23, was a breakout star during their conference semifinals sweep of the Lakers, scoring 22.5 points per game. He had a considerably more difficult time against the Spurs, scoring only 14 points in the first two games combined. Mitchell recorded two points, five rebounds, and an assist before departing Game 3 with his injury. They’ll sorely miss his ball-handling off the bench.

With Jalen Williams (hamstring) also fighting through injury and questionable for Game 4 after missing Game 3, the Thunder will have to circle the wagons. Jared McCain, a huge performer in the Game 3 win, should get more minutes and touches. Isaiah Joe may be called upon for a role again. Their bench has dominated San Antonio through three games, but they’ll need all hands on deck to keep that advantage going.
