UPDATE: Jalen Williams (hamstring) will not return.
Rough, rough timing for the Oklahoma City Thunder. They’re playing well in the first half against the Spurs, looking to avoid a 2-0 deficit going back to San Antonio. But they might have to finish this one without Jalen Williams, who is experiencing some troubles with his hamstring.
You never want to see an injury reoccurrence in the middle of a playoff game. Williams played only seven minutes in the first half, scoring four points with one rebound and two steals. Williams did not start the second half, with Cason Wallace in his place. Williams was not seen warming up in the tunnel, and the Thunder refused to provide an update. If he were to sit out the remainder of the game, Williams would be eligible for protection under our Early Exit Program.
