MLB Probable Pitchers Today: Full Starting Pitcher Matchups for May 19, 2026

Tuesday’s slate features a full schedule of games, highlighted by Dylan Cease and Will Warren bringing strong strikeout numbers into Yankees-Blue Jays, Ranger Suarez carrying a 17.1-inning scoreless streak for Boston, and Jacob Misiorowski continuing his dominant strikeout run for Milwaukee against the Cubs.

Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins Probable Pitchers

  • Atlanta Braves: Martin Perez
  • Miami Marlins: Braxton Garrett
  • Time: 4:10 PM ET

While Perez has a solid 2.25 ERA, he also owns a 4.01 xERA and a 4.07 FIP. This will be Garrett’s second appearance this season after allowing five runs on four hits through 1.1 innings against the Twins.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays Probable Pitchers

  • Baltimore Orioles: Kyle Bradish
  • Tampa Bay Rays: Griffin Jax
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

Bradish has recorded at least six strikeouts in five of his nine starts this season. As a starter, Jax has allowed only two runs through four starts and 14 innings.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Philadelphia Phillies Probable Pitchers

  • Cincinnati Reds: Chase Burns
  • Philadelphia Phillies: Jesus Luzardo
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

Burns has been excellent through nine starts, posting a 1.87 ERA with an xERA of 2.95. Luzardo has been the victim of some terrible luck, as his 5.07 ERA is coupled with an xERA of 3.15.

Cleveland Guardians vs. Detroit TIgers Probable Pitchers

  • Cleveland Guardians: Parker Messick
  • Detroit Tigers: Keider Montero
  • Time: 6:40 PM ET

Messick has allowed no more than two earned runs in seven of his nine starts. Despite solid numbers across the board, Montero’s swing-and-miss rate is at 6.7%, the lowest of his career.

New York Mets vs. Washington Nationals Probable Pitchers

  • New York Mets: Nolan McLean
  • Washington Nationals: Foster Griffin
  • Time: 6:45 PM ET

McLean has recorded at least seven strikeouts in six of his nine starts. Griffin is coming off his worst start of the season, allowing nine runs on seven hits through 4.1 innings against the Reds.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees Probable Pitchers

  • Toronto Blue Jays: Dylan Cease
  • New York Yankees: Will Warren
  • Time: 7:05 PM ET

Cease continues to post extremely high strikeout numbers, as his K/9 currently stands at 12.9. Warren has some solid strikeout numbers of his own with an 11.2 K/9.

Boston Red Sox vs. Kansas City Royals Probable Pitchers

  • Boston Red Sox: Ranger Suarez
  • Kansas City Royals: TBD
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Suarez hasn’t allowed a run in his last three starts, spanning 17.1 innings.

Houston Astros vs. Minnesota Twins Probable Pitchers

  • Houston Astros: Lance McCullers Jr.
  • Minnesota Twins: Zebby Matthews
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

McCullers Jr. has allowed five home runs over his last four starts. Matthews made his season debut last week, shutting out the Marlins through seven innings with five strikeouts.

Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs Probable Pitchers

  • Milwaukee Brewers: Jacob Misiorowski
  • Chicago Cubs: Ben Brown
  • Time: 7:40 PM ET

Misiorowski has at least eight strikeouts in five straight starts, including back-to-back games in double-digits. As a starter, Brown hasn’t allowed a run in two starts and eight innings against the Braves and Rangers.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals Probable Pitchers

  • Pittsburgh Pirates: Mitch Keller
  • St. Louis Cardinals: Matthew Liberatore
  • Time: 7:45 PM ET

Keller currently owns the lowest K/9 of his career at 6.4 through 52.2 innings.

Texas Rangers vs. Colorado Rockies Probable Pitchers

  • Texas Rangers: Kumar Rocker
  • Colorado Rockies: TBD
  • Time: 8:40 PM ET

Rocker has issued seven walks in his last two starts, spanning 8.2 innings.

Athletics vs. Los Angeles Angels Probable Pitchers

  • Athletics: Jacob Lopez
  • Los Angeles Angels: Reid Detmers
  • Time: 9:38 PM ET

Lopez continues to struggle with his command, as he’s walked at least three batters in five of his eight games. Detmers continues to keep the ball in the yard, as he’s allowed only four home runs through 49.1 innings.

Chicago White Sox vs. Seattle Mariners Probable Pitchers

  • Chicago White Sox: Anthony Kay
  • Seattle Mariners: Bryce Miller
  • Time: 9:40 PM ET

Kay has been crushed by right-handed bats, allowing a .429 wOBA with all six home runs he’s allowed and a 6.91 FIP. Miller made his season debut against the Astros last week, allowing two runs on eight hits with three strikeouts.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Diego Padres Probable Pitchers

  • Los Angeles Dodgers: Emmet Sheehan
  • San Diego Padres: Griffin Canning
  • Time: 9:40 PM ET

Sheehan has recorded at least six strikeouts in four straight starts, including 10 against the Cubs. Canning has allowed six runs in back-to-back starts agianst the Brewers and Cardinals.

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks Probable Pitchers

  • San Francisco Giants: Landen Roupp
  • Arizona Diamondbacks: Ryne Nelson
  • Time: 9:40 PM ET

Roupp has been even better than his 3.49 ERA indicates, as he owns an xERA of 2.75 and a 2.67 FIP.
