That means that the Gunners are now just two games away from lifting the Premier League trophy for the first time in 22 years. If they beat Burnley and then Crystal Palace on the final day, there will be no stopping them. If you’re a Gunners fan, you couldn’t ask for a better two games in the run-in.
Burnley were relegated a few weeks ago and will already have their sights set on next season in the Championship. They’ve lost six of their last eight games, drawing two. Not exactly inspiring form. The Clarets have the second-worst road form in the league, picking up only nine points out of a possible 54 on their travels. Only Wolves have recorded fewer.
Arsenal on the other hand, have won 14 of their 18 home matches, drawing two and losing two. That’s 44 points out of a possible 54. They will need to make it 15 out of 19 home wins if they want to collect the prize at the end of the season.
The Gunners have won four of the last five meetings between these teams, and under 3.5 goals have been scored in three of those games. Arsenal are clearly the better team here and should win comfortably, but they’re not exactly scoring goals for fun at the moment, which is why I’ll take them to win and the under.
