In the gauntlet that is the Western Conference, two clubs have stood head and shoulders above the rest. The Thunder remain a juggernaut, eyeing a second straight NBA championship. As for the Spurs, led by All-Star center Victor Wembanyama, they’ve made the leap from up-and-coming squad to title contenders. Now, the West’s top seeded teams are set to do battle, with a trip to the Finals hanging in the balance.

Game 1 tips off Monday night at 8:40 p.m. ET in Oklahoma City.

Spurs vs. Thunder Opening Odds

The Thunder are -260 favorites to win the series on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Spurs sit at +210 odds to reach the NBA Finals.

The Thunder earned an NBA-best 64-18 record during the regular season. Oklahoma City has continued its dominance during the postseason. The defending champs have reeled off eight straight wins, sweeping the Suns and Lakers in rounds one and two, respectively.

The Southwest Division champs eliminated the Trail Blazers in five games during round one, then defeated the Timberwolves in six games during round two.

Including the NBA Cup, the Thunder went 1-4 during five meetings with the Spurs this season.

During the regular season, Oklahoma City ranked seventh in offensive rating (118.9) and first in defensive rating (107.7). San Antonio was fourth in offensive rating (119.6) and third in defensive rating (111.3).
