The UFC announced that former two-division champion “The Notorious” Conor McGregor is making his long-awaited return against Max Holloway at UFC 329 on July 11, 2026. This is the second fight between the two, following McGregor’s win over Holloway in August 2013. McGregor vs. Holloway 2 will headline this year’s International Fight Week in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McGregor last fought Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. He has lost his last two fights to Poirier, with his last win coming against Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January 2020. McGregor was originally scheduled to make his return against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024, but had to withdraw after suffering a toe injury.
Holloway is a former Featherweight and BMF Champion and is coming off a loss to Charles Oliveira in May. Holloway recently moved up to the Lightweight division and now will make his Welterweight debut. He is 4-2 with two knockouts in his previous six contests.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Holloway is a -310 favorite as McGregor is a +250 underdog.
